Iam currently doing a regular podcast, giving disabled comedians a platform from which to perform. My aim is to showcase the wealth of talent out there, which has hitherto suffered from a lack of exposure. I have cerebral palsy and, before the COVID pandemic, was regularly gigging around the country. Despite a lot of positive feedback, I have been saddened to note that opportunities for disabled people are quite limited in this field. I hope to change that.

Co-host is Kate Lovelock
Kate has had left sided Hemiplegic Cerebral Palsy (or Hemi)since birth, diagnosed aged two, affecting her entire left side, most noticeably in her arm and leg. Kate started standup because Glamour magazine told her it was a good thing to improve confidence. That was two years before she actually tried it because they hadn’t done an article on how to stop procrastinating yet. Since then she has done gigs mainly in London and was a You Think You Are Funny”semi-finalist in 2019.

Hele Edwards
Helen is a Brummie comedian who moved to the North East to study music at uni, eleven years ago, and forgot to go home.
She noticed when she performed on her degree that her audiences seemed more interested in her banter between songs than the actual songs, so she decided to make a feature of it.
She just turned 40 and is unsure if she should be worried about the unnatural amount of pleasure she derives from eating teddy-bear-shaped crisps.
She also realised as a young adult that she's somewhat neurodivergent, which would go a long way to explaining life's challenges and some of her mental health issues.
"she appears quite shy but just comes out with proper funny shocking stuff" - The Stand, Newcastle
Because of the COVID-19 some of the comedians who come on here have lost their income for the year so if you want to donate some money please do so by this link
