Iam currently doing a regular podcast, giving disabled comedians a platform from which to perform. My aim is to showcase the wealth of talent out there, which has hitherto suffered from a lack of exposure. I have cerebral palsy and, before the COVID pandemic, was regularly gigging around the country. Despite a lot of positive feedback, I have been saddened to note that opportunities for disabled people are quite limited in this field. I hope to change that.

Elizabth Bentley
From curating and performing at swimming pool shows at Edinburgh Fringe to the masturbation exhibition at the Freud museum , Liz Bentley, Psychotherapist by day /Comedian by night, always surprises with her dark dark wit and psychoanalytical viewpoints.
My experience of mental health and having MS has taken me into disability arts, performing at events such as Liberty festival (Liberty laureate 2009), DaDa fest, Freud Museum and numerous therapy conferences/events.

First performed stand up in August 2010 but poor mental health forced me out of the game for a few years following a breakdown in 2014. Was finally diagnosed with Cyclothemic disorder is 2017, which is a mild form of Bi Polar disorder. Since battling with the condition and getting it under control I've returned to stand up when I moved back to the East Midlands and have had three successful runs at the Edinburgh Festival with panel show Improv Provocatuer and this year would have taken up my stand up show The Joy of Decks, about my seven year career as a mobile DJ.
